Size of a Robin. Length: 11.0 in (29 cm)

A common bird in Arizona, White-winged Doves forage on grain and seeds that have fallen to the ground from feeders. You’ll also see them eating saguaro cactus fruits. These doves migrate south in the winter and return to our area in Spring. White-winged Doves have a dark line on the cheek and a white stripe at the edge of the folded wing. They have pretty faces with blue skin around their red-orange eyes.
