Ash-throated Flycatchers are grayish brown overall with a pale yellow belly and cinnamon edges on the primary feathers in the wing. There are two whitish wingbars on the wings. The head and face is ashy gray with a whitish throat. Males and females look similar. Like many other desert animals, Ash-throated Flycatchers don’t need to drink water. Instead they get it all from the food they eat.
