Length: 5.1-5.9 in (13-15 cm)
I was delighted that this beautiful bird visited our yard in 2021. The male is shown in the top photograph. The female (middle photo) does not have the blue colored head, they are warm grayish-brown above, with a blue tinge to the wings and tail, and a pale cinnamon or tan breast. The bottom photograph is a juvenile male.
