The Raúl M. Grijalva Canoa Ranch Conservation Park comprises 4,800 acres of the original San Ignacio de la Canoa Grant. Historic Canoa Ranch is listed in the National Register of Historic Places.

Canoa Ranch is located near Green Valley, AZ. It was an active ranch from the Spanish colonial era beginning with the Ortiz Brothers in 1821. It ended in 1968 with Howell Manning Senior's widow, Evelyn, selling the ranch to a mining corporation. In the 1990s the ranch was sold to Fairfield Homes for development. Pima County recognizing the importance of preserving the ranch, purchased it in 1997 using bond funds. During the 2000s the restoration process began and in 2013 the ranch was opened to the public.

This Pima County park is a top birding destination, thanks to many rare birds that have been observed there. More than 200 species were seen or heard at the park in 2023, making it a top birding hotspot in Pima County.
