Slightly larger than a Robin. Length: 10.6-11.0 in (27-28 cm) Wingspan: 13.4-13.6 in (34-34.5 cm)

A fairly common visitor to feeders in Tucson, easily recognised by its long, curved bill, bright yellow eyes, long tail, and thick legs. They have a distinctive whistled whit-wheet call.
